Foreman

West Chester Township has an immediate need to fill a Community Services Foreman position. A Foreman must have good oral and written communication skills and a commitment to provide excellent customer service to our residents. This supervisory level position of skilled and unskilled maintenance work is also responsible for operating a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of township parks, cemeteries, roads, storm water drainage infrastructure rights-of-way and facilities. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. Must be available for snow removal or other emergency duty 24/7 as needed. The starting pay is $32.00/hour.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License
  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory position
  • 1-3 years of experience in maintenance/construction
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in a supervisory position
  • 5 years of experience in maintenance/construction
  • Class A State of Ohio Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire. We will pay for CDL!
